Historical museums, notably the state museum on Furmanov Street are fascinating, but there are also exhibitions of musical instruments and dolls, to name but two. If fine traditional or modern art is your bag, you'll find it here, not perhaps as extensively as you might in cities such as Munich and Venice, but enough to interest you nonetheless, in several places, and Kazakhs are very proud to share it.
