Begin with a scenic drive into the mountains, where winding roads lead through forests, rivers, and dramatic alpine scenery. The first stop is the picturesque Hobbit Waterfall, a hidden gem surrounded by lush forest and rocky cliffs.
After a short and easy walk, reach this charming waterfall where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and breathtaking scenery. Adventurous travelers can even take a refreshing dip in the cold crystal-clear mountain water, a unique experience especially during warm summer days.
Next, visit the famous Alma-Arasan hot springs, known for their naturally heated mineral water pools. These geothermal baths have been popular with locals for many years. Here, relax and swim in warm natural thermal pools, enjoying the soothing water while surrounded by peaceful mountain landscapes.
The final stop is the legendary Sunkar Falcon Farm, where you will watch an impressive falconry demonstration. During the show, powerful birds of prey such as golden eagles and falcons display their incredible speed and agility. You will also learn about the ancient nomadic tradition of hunting with birds, an important part of Kazakh cultural heritage.
Please note: the falcon show takes place from Wednesday to Sunday. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the program includes a visit to the scenic Presidential Park instead.
