HUNTING AND FISHING BASE ZASASAI

Zasasai Base offers a complete and comfortable fishing and hunting experience. It is located near the Ily River, which is regarded to be among the best spots for fishing in the whole region. The base boasts comfortable accommodation and delicious food, making it an ideal place for fishing and hunting together with friends and family. The base lies at Karoy village, a four-hour drive west of Almaty.

Motorized inflatable boats are available for fishing. At the mouth of the Ily River you will find many different species of fish such as carp, catfish, perch, chub, roach and crucian carp. Zasasai even has its own record as a catfish weighing 73 kg was caught here, and expert fishermen have caught 128 carp on a single outing. Guests can obtain advice on site from such experts.

Hunting

Nature offers a variety of game such as numerous flocks of ducks and geese, as well as pheasants which turn up in the area. During the hunting season enthusiasts of hunting for flying and floating fowl will enjoy the Zasasai Base. In autumn and winter, hunting for hares, wild boars and wolves is very popular. Heated accommodation is provided.

Comfort at Zasasai

Zasasai has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Accommodation includes bungalows or yurts, the total capacity of which is 20-30 people. The base is equipped with satellite TV, showers, baths and dining rooms. A variety of dishes will appeal to the avid gourmet, including lamb and fragrant fresh carp.
