If there were ever a place in Almaty to rub shoulders, this would be it. POSH Café is very much a place to be, and to be seen, not only for the chicness of the joint itself but for some of the events it has become associated with. The list is very impressive, and for this very reason, POSH has become synonymous with style. The presentation of the Porsche Cayenne took place here, as did many screenings of new collections from Emporio Armani and in turn, an after-party for Kazakhstan Fashion Week. Many other themed events have also graced this classy establishment and renowned foreign DJs have contributed, namely Rita Campbell, Lisa Millet, Eddine B, Jay Sebag, Lauren Rose and others. To add a little spice, it also holds mafia parties (a murder mystery style game) three times a week.

As for the menu, be sure to try some of the cocktails or wines, the latter of which come from the French Hédiard boutique. Food served in POSH is a mix of European and Asian cuisine and very popular, credit going to the professional chef from Moscow. And finally, the business lunch is highly recommended for its quality and value for money.
