Description
This hike starts with a gradual ascent through spruce forests, providing fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings. Along the way, you will visit the Batareika waterfall, a small mountain waterfall concealed among rocks and forest.
The trail continues to the Kok Zhailau plateau, a wide alpine meadow offering panoramic views over Almaty and surrounding valleys. This natural area is an ideal spot for a rest break.
From Kok Zhailau, the route becomes more demanding as it follows the mountain ridge toward the Three Brothers Peak, a dramatic rock formation on the Kumbel ridge. At approximately 2850 meters, the viewpoint offers expansive views of the Tien Shan mountains and is a perfect location for photos and rest.
The descent returns through varied mountain scenery, offering different perspectives of the landscape.
