This full-day tour of Almaty starts at 9 a.m. with a visit to the Ascension Cathedral, an architectural marvel and one of the tallest wooden buildings globally. Inside, admire the detailed frescoes and the serene atmosphere of this Orthodox church.
Next, visit the 28 Panfilovs Memorial Park, which honors the heroes who defended Moscow during World War II. The central bronze monument offers a meaningful photo opportunity and reflection on Kazakhstan’s historical role in the war.
