Description
Begin your day with an early pickup in Almaty at 6:00 AM. After a short coffee and restroom break at 8:00 AM, arrive at Charyn Canyon by 10:00 AM. Known as the Valley of the Castles, spend about an hour walking along the canyon floor, visiting scenic viewpoints, and photographing the unique rock formations.
At 11:30 AM, stop briefly at the Charyn River viewpoint to observe the vibrant blue river contrasting with the towering canyon walls. Spend around 10 minutes capturing photos and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Continue to Kolsai Lakes National Park, arriving at approximately 1:10 PM. Spend about an hour exploring the alpine scenery by walking along the lake’s edge and forest trails. Visit scenic viewpoints and optionally take a horseback ride for a more immersive experience.
Begin the return trip to Almaty at 3:00 PM with a coffee and restroom stop around 5:00 PM. You will arrive back in Almaty by 8:00 PM, dropped off at your preferred city address.
