Your accredited guide will meet you at your chosen pickup point in Almaty. The journey begins as the landscape changes from the cityscape into the serene Kazakh countryside. Along the way, the guide will share insights about Kazakhstan’s culture, history, and lifestyle. The road to Charyn Canyon takes about three hours. To stay connected, WiFi is available on board throughout the trip.

Upon arrival, you will walk approximately 1 kilometer (40 minutes on smooth terrain) to the Charyn River. Explore Charyn Canyon, a geological formation shaped over millions of years. The canyon features red cliffs and winding gorges, including the 'Valley of Castles', known for its towering sandstone spires resembling a mythical kingdom.

After the canyon, the tour continues to Kolsay Lake, nestled in the Tien Shan Mountains. The lake’s calm waters reflect the surrounding peaks, offering a serene setting. You can enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the clear lake and relax along forested shores rich with wildlife.
