Description
Day 1: Departure from your hotel at 08:00. Arrive at the village of Saty by 12:30 and check in to the guesthouse. Transfer to Lake Kaindy via UAZ Russian vehicle follows. You can reach the lake on horseback (15 minutes, 7-15 USD per person) or on foot, enjoying mountain views and tranquil nature.
Lake Kaindy features emerald-blue water and submerged birch trees. A walk along the shore allows you to appreciate its unique formation. Return to the village by 15:30 and have lunch, then visit Kolsai Lake at 16:30. The crystal-clear lakes are surrounded by dense mountains where you can hike trails and observe local wildlife. Return to the village by 19:00 for dinner and free time.
Day 2: Breakfast at 08:00. Depart at 10:30 to Charyn Canyons, where you can hike and explore diverse rock formations and canyon landscapes. Enjoy a picnic by the river within the canyon area.
Leave Charyn Canyons at 13:00 and arrive at Bartogay Lake at 14:30. Here, walk along the shore and photograph mountain and steppe views. Depart Bartogay Lake at 16:00 and arrive back in Almaty by 20:00.
