Description

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Almaty and head to Big Almaty Lake. Arrive at one of Kazakhstan's most famous natural wonders, sitting in a pristine mountain cirque, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Its brilliant turquoise color changes with the seasons – from emerald in spring to deep blue in autumn. Enjoy a scenic viewpoint, as your guide knows the best spots for breathtaking photos. Breathe the fresh alpine air – even in summer, the temperature is a cool 20°C to +25°C. Take part in a short drone filming session. Next, drive to Ayusai Viewpoint. Continue deeper into the national park to Ayusai Gorge ('Bear's Gorge' in Kazakh). The road winds through dense spruce forests and along crystal-clear mountain streams. Take a short walk to the observation deck, stretch your legs, and take in the dramatic views of the Tien Shan mountains. Capture the rugged beauty of alpine meadows and towering cliffs. If you're feeling energetic, your guide can lead you on a short hike along the river (additional 30–40 minutes). You can also have coffee and meals at the on-site café (not included in the base price; budget approx. $12–20 per person). After the cool mountain air, it's time to warm up and relax. Descend to Almarasan, a natural hot spring complex nestled in a picturesque gorge. The water here is naturally heated and rich in radon, known for its therapeutic effects on muscles and joints. Enjoy a peaceful break, perfect after the morning's sightseeing. After a rejuvenating break, begin your comfortable drive back to the city. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or apartment by mid-afternoon, leaving you with incredible photos, and the relaxed feeling of a day well spent in nature.
