Start your journey with pickup from your hotel in Almaty and travel towards the spectacular Charyn Canyon, one of Kazakhstan’s most impressive natural landmarks.
Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside and local villages as you leave Almaty behind. Arrive at Charyn Canyon and begin your exploration of the famous Valley of Castles.
Follow a scenic trail of about 2 kilometers through the canyon, surrounded by towering cliffs, rock towers and formations shaped by millions of years of erosion. Take your time to admire the dramatic landscape and stop at viewpoints for panoramic photographs. Continue towards the Charyn River, where you can enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings and take a break before returning.
After exploring the canyon, depart for Almaty. If you wish, stop for an optional lunch at a local café in the village of Baiseit and try traditional Kazakh dishes or freshly prepared kebabs.
Continue the drive back to Almaty and arrive at your hotel.
