Description

Start your day with an early morning departure from your hotel in Almaty and travel towards the famous Charyn Canyon. On the way, stop at Baiseit village and its open-air market to see local life and browse traditional products. Continue to Charyn Canyon and explore the spectacular Valley of Castles, known for its dramatic rock formations and colorful cliffs. After the canyon, drive through the scenic Black Canyon on the way to Kaindy Lake. At Kaindy Lake, enjoy a short uphill trek or optional horse riding to reach the viewpoint overlooking the turquoise lake and its famous submerged spruce trees. After the visit, take a lunch break before continuing to Kolsai Lake. Walk along the shore of Kolsai Lake and enjoy the peaceful mountain scenery. From May to October, you can also take an optional boat ride on the lake. In the afternoon, begin the journey back to Almaty, arriving in the evening after a full day exploring some of Kazakhstan’s most remarkable natural landscapes.
