Description

Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Almaty and a comfortable drive east toward the town of Issyk. The route passes through the city and continues into the scenic Issyk Gorge of the Trans-Ili Alatau. Along the way, you can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, open landscapes, and historic burial mounds. If you are interested in local history, you can also request a visit to the Museum of the Golden Man in Issyk. After reaching the Eco-Park near Issyk Lake, the vehicle will stay in the parking area. From there, walk for approximately 10 minutes along an asphalt road to reach the lake. At an altitude of around 1,760 meters, Issyk Lake is surrounded by mountain slopes and dense vegetation. Take your time to enjoy the scenery, walk along the shore, and take photographs of the lake and surrounding mountains. After approximately 1–1.5 hours at the lake, return to the parking area and begin the drive back to Almaty. The total tour duration is approximately 4–5 hours. For those who would like to spend more time in the mountains, an extended option can be arranged with a visit to the Turgen Waterfall or the Assy Plateau, subject to the selected itinerary.
