Description
Aktau Mountains Desert Park is Kazakhstan’s only desert park. It features a variety of landscapes including sands, tugai forests, floodplains, and mountains. Visitors can observe rare animals such as the goitered gazelle and kulan in their natural habitats.
The park has three developed tourist routes equipped with signs, gazebos, observation platforms, and parking lots. Routes include the dried ocean of Aktau mountains, Singing dunes, and Katutau frozen lava.
