This 6-day tour explores Azerbaijani cuisine and cultural landmarks, including Baku, Gobustan, and Gabala, ideal for food and history enthusiasts.
Day 1: Arrival in Baku
Transfer from Baku International Airport to a 4-star hotel. Enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani welcome dinner featuring dishes like plov (pilaf), dolma (stuffed grape leaves), kebabs, and local wine or sharbat (fruit drink). End the day with a walk along Baku’s seaside Boulevard with views of the Caspian Sea.
Day 2: Baku City Exploration & Local Culinary Delights
Begin with a breakfast of local honey, fresh breads, and cheeses. Visit the Icherisheher (Old City), including the Maiden Tower and Shirvanshahs’ Palace. Have lunch at Fisincan Restaurant on Nizami Street with kuzu tandir (roast lamb) and dushbara (dumplings). Day 3: Gobustan & Shamakhi – Wine Tasting & Local Fare
