The Clay House Gallery is the only gallery in Almaty which features contemporary art with a specific focus on ceramics alongside paintings and jewellery. The gallery's mission is to support national artists in developing their work and to promote Kazakh contemporary art.
The Clay House Gallery is home to well-known Kazakh artists, many of whom have exhibited in Kazakhstan and around the world including in the United States and Europe. Citizens and guests to the city are invited to come and enjoy modern Kazakh art in a spacious, modern and stylish setting.
In keeping with its mission, the gallery features a fully equipped studio, where daily master classes are offered with instruction from a professional artist. All are welcome to attend the classes, including children.
