1st day Astana city tour 10.00- Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby. Astana where you will see: the Water-Green Boulevard also known as Millenium axis. On that millenium axis all the main Astana sighseeings are located: Ak-Orda presidential palace;Baiterek The Library of the First President monument; designed by Norman Foster in 2013; The concert Hall designed by Nicoletti in 2013; Khan-Shatyr complex, the largest in the world transparent tent of 140 thousand sq.m made from the modern innovative materials; Astana opera – the third largest in the world Opera house; Visit the Astana-Baiterek Monument, where you can see the capital of Kazakhstan from a bird's eye view from a special viewing platform. The Astana Grand Mosque is a mosque in Astana, Kazakhstan. It is the largest mosque in Central Asia and one of the largest in the world. Nazarbayev, who ruled Kazakhstan for three decades since the country gained independence in 1991, laid the foundation stone for the mosque the day before his resignation in March 2019. The wall on the side facing the qibla is inscribed with the 99 names of Allah, illuminated with golden light from within. The mosaic wall is 100 meters long and 22.4 meters high and consists of 25 million glasses of different colors. 19.00- dinner and transfer to the Burabay ( 2 hours by car) (L,D) 2nd day Burabay park 9.00- Morning walk in the forest along the lake. Burabay National park (Borovoe), occupies 85000 hectares of northeastern part of Kokshetau elevation. There are 14 lakes in the park, each having surface area of more than 1 sq.km, and a large number of small lakes. In the middle of the steppe the nature itself has created the unique natural landscapes of extraordinary beauty with combination of majestic mountain scenery, blue mirror lakes, coniferous and deciduous groves. In 1991, on this valley a stela-obelisk was installed for the great Khan of Kazakhs Abylai khan in connection with his 280th birthday. Hundreds of years ago this territory belonged to Abilay Khan and according the legends his Main yurta was also installed there. The area itself is very refreshing for walking but we will have our lunch there in a local restaurant surrounded with pine trees. 13.00- lunch During the tour we will see Zhumbaktas, or Mysterious Stone, translated from Kazakh. In the Northern part of Auliekol Lake (Burabay), between mountains of Kokshe and Temirtau, there is a beautiful gulf. In the middle of this gulf – there is a small rocky island – a pile of weathered granite formations. This rock is called Zhumbaktas. Zhumbaktas is one of the most famous attraction of Burabay resort area. We can also take a boat to get a good look at this amazing stone Transfer to Astana (B,L,D)
